My daughter was diagnosed with a immune system disease. She was seen at her phsysian office often complaining of stomach pains and issues. The doctor prescribed meds for constipation.. The back again to see doctor now shortness of breath now doctor says asthma. She received a pump then referred to ER for breathing test sent home on Monitor. A few weeks later she return to Dr office with leaking breasts. The doctor told me and my daughter that she has a chemical imbalance in her brain that's telling her she's pregnant but she isn't. Her body would perform like she pregnant gain weight eating more and all but never sent my daughter to a specialist.. Never. We found out about the disease in july/ August. I buried my daughter Oct same year...

Unfortunately, from the facts you have given it is difficult to determine if you have a case or not. In the event that the doctor missed a diagnosis, and had he properly diagnosed the problem to begin with your daughter could have been treated and survived, then it is possible you have a case worth looking into. There is a two year statute of limitations in Arkansas, which is two years from the date the malpractice, or misdiagnosis occurred. I would definitely look into it with a qualified MED mal attorney.

My condolences. The key question is did the physician miss a diagnosis that should have been made using reasonable medical care/decision making? If the physician departed from accepted standards of care then there is a case. Speak to local malpractice counsel.
