What will happen to my brother if my 11 year old brother if I call the cops on my alcoholic dad?
My dad has been emotionally and physically abusive ( never went to hospital) since I was little (I'm 19). My mom is in India for religious reasons and is going to tell the family in India that she will divorce him and plans on doing it the minute she gets home. For the longest time he has forbid her from working and telling anyone about the abuse. After she left ( she is only gone for 2 weeks) he has become more and more aggressive to me and my brother because he is worried that she will tell his family about his actions. Sidenote: I think he has bipolar disorder based on his symptoms but he's not diagnose because he doesn't go to hospitals. I was going to call the cops the next time he does anything but I don't know if child services will take my brother away because my mom left him at home with him for 2 weeks. I'm at home and taking care of him. Should I call the cops or wait it out until she comes back in 10 days? She plans of divorcing him as soon as she comes back.
