Is it too late to hire a lawyer after a divorce is final if I did not understand the proceedings?

I am a Cuban American woman living in Hilsborough County, FL who was divorced from an American on July 27, 2017 in Volusia County, FL. Although I was present at the proceedings I was not represented by a lawyer (did not have money to hire one) and did not understand the discussions. I speak very little English and someone is helping type this question. The court decided that although my ex husband and I are both on the mortgage for a property I currently reside in Hilsborough County, FL that he would be entitled to 100% of our home's equity once it is sold. I also did not request any alimony because I did not understand that this was something I should do. 1. Is there any recourse that I can take to obtain 50% of the home's equity? 2. Can I be forced to sign the title over to a new owner once it is sold?

You might be able to take steps to change the ruling, but you need to move quickly as you have only 60 - 90 days from the divorce date to act (depending on what your rules say). The best thing to do is get with an experienced family law attorney to review all of your facts and papers.
