Hi there, I have a question regarding family visa category F1. As per visa bulletin for the month of September, the current date is 01,May-10 as oppose to August visa bulletin stated the current date was 22, dec-10. What is all this about. Is that a mistake? I have never seen dates moving backward. What does that mean? Can you please explain me. That would be so helpful. Thanks in advance.

Dates move forward and backward all the time - it depends on the quota and visa usage. Keep checking every month.

Yes dates move forward and backwards in the Visa Bulletin. It reflects visa usage and availability. Retrogression is not uncommon. Goodluck

The dates for visa availability as indicated in the VISA BULLETIN can change on a monthly basis due to the limited supply of visas and the demand by applicants.
