You have one of the toughest judges in one of the harshest sentencing District Courts in Southeast Michigan. There are 2 out of 3 judges in that court that sentence like that. Expect to be treated just as harshly for your violation of probation. You took a big risk and got burned by not waiting. Your best bet is to hire a very experienced criminal defense attorney who routinely practices in that court to assist you in minimizing the damage that might occur if you walk in to court without an attorney or with one that has only minimal experience in cases before your judge. You could go to jail and have your probation extended as a result of this violation--take it very seriously, I have been practicing in that court for over 30 years and I have seen many people who go in expecting a slap on the wrist and end up being nearly destroyed by those judges.
