How can I protect myself from my husband getting life insurance policy on me without me knowing about it ?

Business 2 views 1 answers
It has been over a year my husband has been insisting for me to get a life insurance. My answer always was no. But lately it has become suspicious why is he so interested in my life insurance. It became even scary last night when he said if I wont get life insurance then he would get it on me. Things looked even worse when i searched over the Internet and found out that life insurance companies can sell life insurance policy to the spouse who wants to buy it for his wife or husband. This is ridiculous. Where is self-protection?

I don't understand, life insurance is for those left behind not the person insured. Your husband has a right and possible duty to insure you if you have kids. You need to sit down and talk this over with him. You should both have policies on each other. If you think something nefarious is going on then you need to go see a family law attorney and discuss divorce.
