How would divorce affect my home?
married over 50 years, now sick and tired of wife's comments behind my back. she does not know I hear them, but I do. what would I have to give up in a divorce. I have had enough, of her lies and innuendo's.

You would not necessarily lose your home but the marital assets and liabilities would be divided. You would need to speak to an attorney in your area and discuss with him/her your entire financial situation. In doing so you will be able to get a full picture of what you are likely to gain or lose in a divorce.

A marriage of long duration would likely result in the liquidation of assets and, if here is a disparity in income, maintenance. You should consult with an attorney before doing anything.
