This is the first offense since being released a year ago on prole.. There are no evidence to the charge and the victim recanted on her statement .

Typically parole will wait for resolution of the new charge before resolving any issues arising therefrom with parole. If the case goes away, the parole revocation likely goes away. If the new charge sticks, parole gets revoked. Better get a good lawyer to handle that assault charge and minimize the damage.

I agree with Mr. Wooldridge. Parole will normally await the outcome of the new case before deciding what to do. If the case is resolved in your favor - the parole violation should hopefully go away as well. Good luck.

I agree with Mr. Wooldridge and Mr. Andreadis. However, I'm not so optimistic that parole will wait, and I hope my pessimism is wrong. Your lawyer that you hire should be familiar with parole law, in my humble opinion. Best of Luck!
