Greetings; I'm trying figure out how to stop a license suspension

This is one of the most ridiculous penalties our legal system has come up with. When I first learned about this I could not believe it. It is true, and happens all the time. Missed child support payments and drivers license is suspended. This causes less ability to earn an income and make the support payments. Crazy! Your friend is at the mercy of the court (the court that handled the divorce). He should call the clerk of the court, explain the job loss (change of conditions justifying a change in child support payment amount) and also ask if there is anyway they can remove the suspension to enable him to get work.
