When I retire, how will it affect permanent alimony in Florida??

I am just under 73 yrs. of age and I have been paying permanent alimony for 24 years after being married for only 15 years. If I retire, how will my social security and 401k be impacted?

If you agreed in the divorce case that alimony would be non-modifiable then your retirement will not impact your alimony payment. If you did not agree, then your retirement would enable you to seek a modification of alimony based on a reduction of income, but if your income will be more money now even without your working, the a modification may not be warranted.

I cannot answer your questions if I cannot read the final judgment and any agreement that the final is based upon.
