I was arrested for posession in Missouri then let go for telling them where someone was staying. I moved to Washington state and almost a year later a warrant was issued for that charge! I found out when I got pulled over for speeding. The warrant is only ectradictable from the surrounding states which doesn't include washington...what can I do?

You will need help from an attorney licensed to practice in Missouri. In general, the opitions for quashing a warrant are: 1-Post bail and get new court dates. 2-Have an attorney make a motion to quash and reschedule the arraignment. This is up to the court and requires some good planning and advocacy to get accomplished. 3-Schedule a warrant quash hearing and appear in court. All of the options involve appearing in court. With very rare exception there is no way to make a warrant disappear from afar. With an attorney and good planning you may be able to minimize the trips back to the other state to one or two.
