I got a speeding ticket.

Business 2 views 4 answers
I was driving alone. My boyfriend was not with me. Officer had a radar gun showing me my speed. I signed the ticket on an electronic thing & he gave the ticket to me, but my signature wasn't on it. 2 days later my boyfriend got a ticket in the mail stated "he was cited & released" for tinted windows. My boyfriend was not with me. The office didn't say anything about my tinted windows. Any advice would be helpful. Thank you.

You should show the ticket to an local traffic ticket attorney to resolve. Retain an experienced traffic attorney who regularly appears in the courthouse for the case. Use Google or the "Find a Lawyer" link at the top of the page and search for "traffic ticket attorney [the city where your courthouse is]." Then call a few of them and discuss the facts and retain one with whom you feel confident and comfortable. Good luck to you.

This is not uncommon in OC. The officer issued an Owner's Responsibility " ticket to your boyfriend as he was registered owner. Get an attorney and tint removed with correction signed off by any police agency.

sounds like a case you should fight and take to court, if you can contact an attorney for a free consult, I agree save the ticket as evidence and set the case for a court date.
