In the State of New Jersey is there a statute of limitations for how long service of a summons can be upheld? Thank you.
If a summons was served in January 2016 can it be upheld in July of 2017?

I agree with my brother counsel. If you were served with a summons in January 2016, something should already have happened litigation-wise.
