Can I put my LLC name on my utilities to establish paying accounts and history?

I've just started a LLC. I want to be able to establish my LLC able to pay bills on time. I would like to send a Resolution to all my utility companies because I have a home based business.
You can establish accounts with your utilities in the name of the LLC with a modicum of effort. However, to enjoy the benefit of limited liability, you should be careful to segregate business and personal assets and obligations. In addition, to deduct a portion of your home expenses for income tax purposes, you will need to clearly dedicate a portion of your space exclusively for business use. You should consult with an experienced Business Attorney to assist in properly organizing and operating your business.
Yes. It is simply a matter between you and the utilities. Each of their requirements may be different. I doubt any will ask for a resolution, but they may require a deposit and/or a personal guarantee if the LLC has not established a payment history of its own.
