Can my husband file charges against me for using his credit card for a mutual bill such as school tuition for our child

Business 1 views 1 answers
I used my husbands credit card to pay our minor childs school tuition bill. This was the third year that our child attended the school. The first two years I paid the tuition myself, but I lost my job and didn't have the money for the third year. My child is now a senor in high school and I have received a tuition discount for their final year of school.

It sounds as though you're divorced or at least separated. If so, why do you still have your ex's card? If you're still together, why is there a problem using his card to pay his own child's tuition? Your question can't be answered without more facts (the answers to the above two questions, whether you're an authorized user, etc), but if you are not an authorized user, it is fraud to use someone's card, as well as theft (the degree depending on the amount charged). If you're not separated or divorced, I'd suggest you discuss it with your husband. If you think he might press charges, consult a good criminal lawyer.
