Where can I file for divorce?

My wife is Active Duty Navy and is trying to file for divorce in our home state of Arizona. I am a resident of Maryland though and would like to file here. Is that possible?

You need to review the Soldiers' and Sailors' Civil Relief Act.

Assuming she can claim residency in Arizona and you in Maryland, the case will almost be handled in the state in which one of you is first to file.
You refer to Arizona as "our home state." How long have you been a resident of Maryland. If the grounds for divorce (e.g., voluntary separation, adultery, etc.) occurred in a state other than Maryland, you can only file for divorce in Maryland if you have lived here for one year.
