In filing documents, Pro Se (ie Motion To Dismiss, Request for Hearing, etc) is it necessary or required to be notarized?

Specifically filing a Motion To Dismiss, but would like to know if I need to have any documents I file in relations to my case, Pro Se, notarized. Also is it recommended to send Certified Return Receipt. I will be sending a copy to the Clerk of the Circuit Court and Plaintiff's attorney. This is a foreclosure suit. Thank you!

Things that are required to accompany such a dispositive motion, such as a Proof of Service, must be signed in front of a notary public. If you are going to learn all you need to learn to go Pro Se, one thing to study and get to be an expert on is the serving laws for civil matters in Florida. http://www.serve-now.com/resources/process-serving-laws/Florida Good luck. If this is something you don't understand, hire a qualified Florida lawyer to advise you.

Generally speaking, most pleadings do not have to be notarized or verified. However, I noticed that you used as an example a "Motion to Dismiss" as a document that you might be filing. Please understand that when filing a Motion to Dismiss you must raise certain defenses when you first file your first motion; otherwise, they are waived an you are no longer able to raise them. I recommend you speak with an attorney prior to filing a dispositive motion. Good Luck.
