hi i i got caught by having an open container in my car.. i have a mandatory court in next month.what do you guys think the verdict will be ? i am scared of going to jail..an additonal ; do i have to take a lawyer with me..? thanks

I agree with everything the previous attorney stated, however your insurance company can still surcharge you for an alcohol related violation. If your carrier does surcharge you, those surcharges are payable for three consecutive years.
