I'm looking for a template for a simple financial contract.

My fiance and I are helping out a friend with a cell phone on our account. We have been burned in a situation like this before, and I would like some legal documentation stating what the friend must pay to us. As well as recourse for non-payment (considering the cancellation fee is quite steep, and we are locked in a 2 year contract).

Yikes, you have already been burned and you are going back for more? No contract will help you here. It is your initial decision to get involved that is what needs to be looked at before you make the same mistake again. By the way, there is no "simple financial contract." If you are going to do this, then you need to retain an attorney to draft a contract that would be enforceable as written.\ Hope this helps.
