California speeding ticket with International license.

Hi, Recently I got a California speeding ticket for driving at 93 MPH on 70 MPH freeway. I have an Indian license and was driving a rental car. I want to know that since I do not have a US driver's license, how is it going to effect my negative points and insurance if I get a US license? Thanks, Shahzad

If you are now a resident of CA your international driver's license is not valid. Yes speeding is going to put a point on your record and at that speed your insurance rates will go through the roof. Please be aware that driving in excess of 100 mph in CA is not just an infraction but a misdemeanor. Slow down.
