Online status changed to initial review on an approved I-140

My EB AOS is pending at Texas Service Center. I checked my online status and saw that the status of my I-140 which was approved a few years ago has changed to initial review. It says that I-140 has been transferred to Texas because that service center has jurisdiction over my case. Is this change of status normal for an approved immigrant visa petition? What could be the reason for this change of message??

It is wierd that the online status was changed. No, it's not normal. The only reason I can speculate is human error. However, I would not lose sleep over it. Legally, the petition remains approved and will alway stay approved regardless of the online changes. USCIS must follow a specific procedure to revoke the approval of the petition. Say something to your employer's attorney so that s/he may follow up with a supervisor at the TSC.
