Hello, I was pulled over on 11/14/10 for speeding and arrested for DUI. Why does my citation only mention the speeding?

I was given a field soberity test, and arrested. The state trooper transported me to Ft. Lewis, where I blew a .086 and .087. I am confused if I am being charged with the DUI or not, and don't know who to contact for further information

In Pierce County, State Troopers file DUI cases with the prosecuting attorney's office--from there the prosecutor usually files the case in court within 2 - 6 weeks and the court sends you notice of your court date in the mail for the DUI. However, there are two things that need your immediate attention! You only have 15 days from the day you got the speeding ticket to contest the ticket--which you should probably do. You only have 20 days from the day you were arrested to request a hearing with DOL to challenge the suspension of your license. We can help you with any questions / further information. We appear in Pierce County courts all the time on DUIs and infractions. Linda M.
