Why am I being required to appear for bond arraignment and I have never been arrested?

I was written a ticket for crossing on to the left side of the road while on a bicycle. I appeared in court over a year ago and plead not guilty to the charges. I recently received a letter stating that I must appear in court for a bond arraignment. This is my first time receiving correspondence about the case in over a year...What exactly does this mean?

This probably means the court lost track of your ticket and has placed it back on the calendar to check on the status. Did you request a jury trial when you pled not guilty? It may be that the case was transferred from a city court to a state or superior court.
