How could I go about reducing my speeding ticket?

6 views 1 answers
So I was speeding in a construction zone. I was tired so in my mind the zone had ended as traffic was light and I saw no cones or equipment. Subconsciously my speed picked back up and i was clocked in at 34 mph over the speed limit. I have to appear in court so is there anything I can do to reduce this? Will my license be revoked?

You should speak with an experienced traffic attorney in that jurisdiction. The general advice would be to complete a defensive driving course and/or the Teen Victim Impact Program (if you are under 25 years of age). In a construction zone, the reduced speed limit as well as the notice of the construction zone must be clearly visible for drivers. These are things that the attorney would investigate.
