What can I expect going to court with being cited for expired tags and no proof of insurance?

Was just pulled over and was given two tickets in the state of Missouri for expired tags and no proof of insurance. Neither ticket has any fines but I’m required to go to court. Still have my license and was let go. This is my first offer ever. Whar can I expect? Please advise. Thank you o

If you go to court and plead guilty, 4 points will be added to your driving record for the “No Insurance” ticket. You can hire a traffic ticket lawyer to handle this for you and get the ticket reduced to a no-point infraction. Or you can bring proof of insurance and registration to court and ask the judge to dismiss your tickets. (No guarantee that the judge will dismiss them but you can ask.)

You can expect to have points on your driver's record and fines imposed. The amount of the fines will depend on several factors, including your age and if you have in your possession the proof of insurance and the updated registration for the car. Judge, in my experience, are more lenient on youthful offenders and if you fit that description take advantage of offers for leniency.
