How can i appeal an unemployment denial

my husbands job was laying off and he was offered a good job in florida. I had no place to live to keep my job so i had to come to florida as well. I cannot find a job and have fallen behind in all my medical bills.for breast cancer, lung cancer, and chronic pancreatitis. I was a 10 year employee, gave a three month notice and would have never left had there been an option to stay.
