Mother here. Joint custody. Father is remarried. No one pays child support. Stepmom is not letting father talk to me about kids and making decisions on when I can see my kids and took my Youngest daughters phone now for 6 months. She has my youngest daughter wanting to harm herself, I had to talk to my daughter, her school counselor, and let principal know just in case she needs to talk about anything. What can I do?

Consult family law counsel about possible modification of parent-child relationship. You probably have the power in your orders to get your child psychological or psychiatric evaluation and/or counseling. If your orders address electronic communication you may need to consider filing an enforcement. If your orders do not cover electronic communication, you should file to modify the orders. Attempt to talk to the other parent whatever legal course you take and document the results of your attempts for possible litigation. If the living environment with the other parent endangers your child's physical health or emotional development, you would normally file to modify primary residence on temporary orders to plead and prove the child's environment with the other parent. Though I did not see it stated your child's age and a professional's recommendation are important to any litigation.
