If a patient needs to be on blood thinners such as warfarin, they need to be closely monitored!! Do you have her records from the hospital and rehab center?

Yes. There are attorneys who are handling cases against those drugs' manufacturers. You should be able to find them quickly, referencing the actions in simple internet research. may be able to help with the data base, as well. There are several great firms that focus on this area of the law.

Contact an attorney who is a member of the Ind. Assn for Justice who handles pharmaceutical cases and malpractice. They give free consults. The problem will be that the dugs have disclaimers, and a lot will depend on your mother's history, age, etc. You need to get the medical records. Ask for the electronic records on a disc. Way cheaper than getting them on paper!
