In Arizona, is being unemployed excused for not paying spousal support?
Ex was told that he does not have to pay spousal support when if he unemployed.

He definitely wasn’t told that, at least not if he spoke to a qualified attorney. If he has a court-ordered support obligation, it’s enforceable regardless of his employment status. He can be found in contempt and sanctioned for nonpayment.
