Calculating child support?

Business Questions 2 views 1 answers
In Florida, when calculating childcare cost in regards to child support, are parents allowed to calculate in babysitters that they pay for things other than work? In other words, can a parent factor in a babysitters cost when using them for a night out on the town? Or are they only supposed to calculate it in for work-related purposes only?

Typically child care expenses are limited to those expenses related to traditional day care, however if a parent works weekends that may be a babysitter. So, no, babysitting expenses for dates are not ones that should be included in child care costs on the child support worksheet.
