Was your letter sent by certified mail, return receipt requested, or by FedEx, or by messenger, or by registered rPost email (www.rpost.com), so you can prove he received it, and so he knows you're serious? If he doesn't comply, you may have to sue him in Small Calims court for "converting" your personal property. Disclaimer: I'm only licensed in CA. Send him a certified letter, return receipt requested, detailing each item you want returned, and where and when you want them returned. If he does not comply, file suit against him in Magistrate Court in the county of his residence. Being served with the suit will probably result in the return of your items.
