Hello,
I have done my own background search on Beenverfied.com and I have noticed they have me on the sex offender list. I have never been in trouble with the law, and have checked the state and national registry list, and im nowhere to be found. I have sent them 3 messeges to please update their information, I have yet to hear from them.. It has been over 17 days since I sent my first note. How can/should I proceed? I have been looking for a job for 2 years, and feel as tho I have been rejected for this

Send them a cerified letter next. I assume that you can't call them. If you get a response that they won't change the information, a local attorney can contact them on your behalf.
Send them a certified letter, return receipt requested. Also, I noticed they have a phone, fax and email. Call them, send them a fax (save the confirmation) and send them an email (save the email). Try to report this to the Better Business Bureau. If none of these work, I'd consult with an attorney.
