I would think so if you did not quit.

To be eligible for unemployment benefits in Illinois, you must meet three requirements: 1) You must have sufficient past earnings; 2) You must be unemployed through no fault of your own (you can’t quit-unless it was for good cause, such as sexual harassment, domestic violence, or military reassignment - or be fired for other misconduct); and 3) You must be able to work and looking for work. In Illinois, your past earnings are calculated off of a one-year “base period.” This base period is the earliest four of the five complete calendar quarters before you filed your claim for benefits. For example, if you filed your claim in October of 2010, the base period would be from June 1, 2009 through May 31, 2010. Illinois also recognizes an alternate base period, which is the last four completed quarters before the person files for unemployment. The idea for this alternate base period is to take into account more recent employment. You must have made at least $1,600 total during this base period, with at least $440 of that outside of your highest paid quarter.
