My prev employer delayed distribution to my pension fund after termination only to fight my wrongful termination suit?

My Previous employer changed my status to indefinite LOA only after receiving the EEOC notice of claim. This blocks me from receiving funds in my pension account as he says I was not terminated. Now my account is significantly less than it was on my termination date. Past employees who quit or got fired got theirs within 30 days, this has been over 6 months for me. Can I do anything about the additional funds that have been lost due to his actions?

I would encourage you to contact both the Federal and State Departments of Labor & Industries and file complaints.

You may also have grounds for a cause of action at civil law. Perhaps you should contact an attorney to discuss the details. [In accordance with the community guidelines, this communication does not constitute "legal advice", nor does it form an attorney-client relationship.]
