How can i fight a ticket i didnt recieve?

I was pulled over a year or so ago for "crossing the double yellow lines" or whatever and found out I had a warrant for an unrelated incident. So when the officer took me to jail for my warrant i was never given a copy of the ticket upon my release. Now my licenses is suspended for not paying the fine. So how can I fight this without having to pay the fine to just get my license unsuspended.

You will need to prepay the ticket and ask for a trial date. If you are acquitted, you will receive a refund. If the fine is less, you will receive a partial refund. If they will not give you a trial date, you will need to pay it and file a motion asking the case to be set for trial. The decision will be up to the judge. Your suspension will be lifted once you pay the ticket, but you still have a trial as explained above.
