Is there a statute of limitations on warrants issued for failure to pay fines in California.

I was convicted of misdemeanor marijuana possession about 7 years ago. I never paid the fines, and I'm sure a warrant was issued. I'm wondering how long the warrant will remain outstanding. Also, what kind of trouble am iI facing if there is no statute of limitations. The warrant was issued out of Burbank, CA. Thank you for your help.

You can always contact the court to see if a warrant was issued and ask what the penalty is for the warrant. It may just be a fine. You may have to go to court. Quickest way to find out. In some jurisdictions warrants don't have a stat. of limitations.
