Can I request a waiver hearing for a speeding ticket after 30 days?

I have received a speeding ticket 45 days ago. This slipped through the cracks and I haven't paid or taken action within 30 days. Is it possible for me to still request a hearing in an attempt to get a PBJ?? This took place in Bowie, MD.

You will need to go to the Clerk's office and prepay the fine. They should still allow you to get a trial date. Tell them you want a trial and not a waiver hearing. This way you will be acquitted if the police officer fails to appear. Your license will be suspended until you go to the Clerk's office.

Yes, you will have to file a motion. You may be able to get it dismissed depending on the circumstances. It may be worth hiring an attorney to represent you. Call and discuss more fully.
