What documents are needed for a US citizen and a foreigner to marry?

My fiancee is an austrian citzien. She will be coming to the US in a couple of months for a 2 weeks visit. We were thinking of eloping in that time. Would it be possible for us to elope in the US? She will NOT stay in teh USA but leave the country after those 2 weeks, coming here on a travel visa. Our intentions is NOT to let her stay here. Ultimately, I will be the one moving to Austria, but due to different aspects we are gonna do this to a later time. We know about all the visa she could do for staying in the USA but this is not what we want and I want to make that clear. Its a 2 weeks stay in California with a wedding, and then she will return home. What documents will she need to bring along? Thanks for your advice!

You both will need to bring valid picture identification, such as a passport. In addition, some counties require a copy of your birth certificates. It isn't necessary for your fiancee to be a California resident for you to marry here. I'm including a link at the bottom with more information for you. I hope this helps! Best of luck to you and your new wife.
