Can the courts override successor trustees and appoint someone that is not named in a Trust?
There is myself listed as successor trustee and a back-up named in my families trust. I was ordered removed as successor trustee for unknown reasons by a court ordered attorney that watches over a conservatorship I placed over my mother who has alzheimers. A new successor was suggested by the court appointed attorney, my attorney submitted orders for this fiduciary to become successor trustee ignoring my parents wishes that was clearly stated in the Trust. Also, when can a court control a Trust?
