Can the other parent pick up my child from school even though they are not listed as a contact person?

If you have sole legal and physical custody you should have the control of who picks up your child from school. If you contact the school and tell them not to release the child to the other parent they should not -- but you might have to show a court order indicating you have sole legal and sole physical custody.
