I wouldn't count on an LLC or corporation to insulate you from liability for libeling people if in fact the novel libels people. The safe bet is not to libel people. You've got to figure that if the people on whom the characters are based read it, are offended, and decide to sue, they'll sue not only the corporation or LLC, but also YOU, because you wrote it. Even if you were to win in the end, you'd still have to defend the lawsuit, which can be an expensive proposition.
Not legal advice as I don't practice law in Texas. It's just my two cents on the facts you describe in light of general principles of law. If you need legal advice, please consult a lawyer who holds Texas licensure. That's not me.
Good luck.
I take it you did not like the answer I gave to your earlier posting. Now that you got the same answer twice, I hope you will accept that forming the LLC provides little or no protection for you from libel suits for your own writings. Rather than post again, why not hire a lawyer to discuss it?
