Should I expect a compensation?

I was in the Apple store and picked up an Apple Pencil and felt a prick on my middle finger and put it down and noticed a small tiny glass shard in my finger in a little bit of blood. And Apple employee came out and gave me tweezers to pick it out andAnd a Band-Aid with alcohol. A moment later I put my hand down on the table where the pencil was and felt another prick I looked down at my hand and there was dozens of tiny glass shards in my hand and I could visibly see one of them drawing a little bit of blood I showed the employees they brought me back to the back table and another employee came out to give me a napkin and a special tape to draw out the glass shards... I spent 10 to 15 minutes using a tweezer and picking out each small tiny glass shards from my hand I still feel a little bit of pain in my hand they said that I will be contacted within 24 hours what should I expect?

Given the minor nature of the injuries I would not anticipate Apple compensating you in any way.
