There was a situation between my husband and I. My husband left before the police came and there were no arrest. The police told my mom other that there were pending assault charges against both of us.

Start by checking with the court in the county where you live. You might want to have a lawyer do that. if there any warrants for your arrest, you could be arrested by showing up to the court to make inquiries.
