Can I sue for pain and suffering
I paid extra money for a memorial and witness cremation for my 17yr old dog. The night before I get a call from the facility stating my dog was accidentally cremated. Stating Someone forgot to put a "hold" on him.

Maybe. There are claims for mental anguish based on mishandling a human corpse. Ive never seen one for a dog . The value of a dog under old texas law is just the property value of a dog and not the additional mental strain, but I believe that law is changing slightly.
