I plead not guilty to driving on suspended and have documentation but missed trail hearing. I was issued a $1000 cash only fta warrant, they suspended my lisence and is the only county with a hold on it which wont be released until wardant is taken care of.

Why are you surprised? You failed to appear for trial in violation of your release. The County issued a warrant. The State will not allow you to become relicensed until you take care of the obligation from any county that has an arrest warrant for you. Equally important, your license was already suspended otherwise you would not have been charged with Driving While Suspended. So I ask again, why are you surprised?

It is common practice for District Courts in Northwest Arkansas and the River Valley area to suspend defendant's licenses when they miss their Court dates, even if their license was valid or had been reinstated before the warrant was issued. Arkansas law allows for Courts to do this. You will need to speak to an attorney to resolve the warrant for you before you are arrested on the warrant especially since you have a cash only bond. If you are arrested on the warrant you will need to pay the entire bond amount in order to be released from jail. I would speak with an experienced Criminal Defense Attorney as soon as you can, I know a lot of the prosecutors down in Sebastian County and they have a reputation for being strict on things like this so you will need an attorney.
