I was cited for VC 22350, unsafe speed for prevailing conditions.

Today I was pulled over for going 63 mph in a 35 mph zone. The CHP officer came behind and pulled me over. How much would the fines be for that? Could I go to traffic school? I have to appear at the court on 07/29. Is there any chance to fight this ticket?

Yes of course you can fight the ticket. I suggest you contact competent traffic ticket defense counsel in your area to assist in getting the speed down to allow you traffic school. The fine is likely in the $500 area.

Go to court and ask for traffic school. At your speed you can't go to traffic school without getting permission from a judge but a judge can still grant the request. You might want to hire an attorney to help you.
