Can I sue my union for missing wages?

Basically I'm a member of a pretty big union as an apprentice. I put my name on a list of unemployed apprentices and whoever is at number one usually goes to a job after a company calls requesting an apprentice. My question is if I'm sent to a job and dont have experience to do what the company needs, and get no training from the company or my union, so I get laid off, which causes me to have no income, can I sue someone for lost wages or anything? As an apprentice we get required training at the unions training facility. But we can only go there when they decide. So I get sent to a company, i dont have the skills needed to do the job they have and i get laid off. I ask my union about training and they say they have other apprentices that need it first. So I get no help from the employer or my union in trying to become better at my choice of career. They both acknowledge experience comes from being on equipment longer, but offer no way for me to actually get time doing job related stuff.

I am sorry but no, that would not give you a right to sue. If your union is not sending you to jobs you can perform, talk to them about it. However suing them for it will be a huge waste of time and money. Good luck to you.
