If someone is listed as the father on a birth certificate and then, due to a dna test, another guy is discovered to be the father, who is responsible for child support?

Alabama only presumes the husband of the mother to be the father. If the mother was unmarried, then the court will have to establish paternity and address rights and obligation of the father. DNA testing will need to be performed with judicial oversight.
