How can I change jobs, from job A to job B,within the same organization when my current H1B extension petition for job A got RFE

Hello, Could you please help me with the below question. I am looking to accept a new role within the same organization, let’s call it job B. But I got an RFE for the current role, let’s call it job A petition, which the company has already filed the response to. My question is: 1. Since it is within the same organization, Hypothetically Will I be able to accept job B immediately within next 2 weeks and start working even though job A’s petition is still under processing? Thanks in advance for taking your time to help me.

If you have time remaining on your current H1B you need to file for a change of position if it is substantially different. The place to start is with your employer’s Immigration attorney .
