Can I get title insurance for the property?

There was a property dispute after my father death. An agreement was made i would retain a life estate deed. If my daughter is convicted of a felony crime she would transfer deed solely to my name only. Sadly that just happened making me owner. I did do it yourself title search,no morages, liens, judgments or unpaid taxes. No existing easements, restrictions or leases. Nothing appears to effect the property sale just need insurance. And deed prepared.

I agree with Mr. Bickel's answer 100%. Once the conditions Mr. Bickel suggests are met the title may be insurable.

Contact the title company that insured a prior sale. They can assist you to record documents to clear title and to insure title is cleared. Expect that a deed will be requested from daughter to remove her claim.

"my daughter is convicted of a felony crime". Convicts are often ordered to pay restitution. You can check your daughter's court file to see whether she has been ordered to pay restitution. If ordered, the provisions for the restitution are probably in the judgment document of her case. "that just happened" probably means the restitution is not showing up in credit histories yet.
